||1975 Greco SA-500|
Showcasing here is Greco's 1975 SA-500, a compact hollow body. ES-339 from Gibson would be the closest match. White Sycamore top, coupled with 3 piece maple neck delivers clear sound with impressive sustain.
The guitar turns to 40 this year but she still stays very young as the photos below demonstrates. No major crack found over the neck and body, which is astounding considering how she survived the last 40 years. Still there are a few areas you want to check out in terms of scratches / punched holes and dents. Some of the screws at the bottom of the bridge have been replaced. All of these are photo'd in detail. Have a close look and ask us if you need further clarification.
Sound-wise, it plays warm and smooth, no buzz heard. Very comfortable to play, so your fingers will happily dance over the fretboard. Lastly, this guitar is shipped along with a sturdy hardshell case worldwide. No matter where you are, you will be one of the very few collectors owning this rare instrument.
