This is an earlier production as the tone knobs doesn't have toggle feature (switching between single coil and humbucker).

Dating hint - the date stamped on the rear side of the pickups indicate 53.10.20 and 53.8.4. The year 53 refers to Showa 53, in which Japanese Showa calendar starts from 1925, therefore 1925 + 53 = 1978. So this guitar turns to 35 years old this October :)
