  •  SOLD  2011 Schecter R-SW-260
    Terada-made Ruler Custom
Super excited to report to you a Japan-made Schecter. I only recently came to know Schecter belongs to the same owner of ESP, Hisatake Shibuya. While having its headquarters in the US, Schecter must take huge advantage of Japanese craftsmanship, similar to how ESP flagship guitars are inspired and designed in the states and made in Japan, an ideal marriage of body and soul.

R-SW-260 Ruler Custom series are semi hollow bodies, featuring dovetail joint and Seymour Duncan Seth Lover pickups. Construction-wise, efforts have been put on light weight including split center blocks and slightly thinner body. But for this particular model, See Through Black (STBK) is an absolute killer. Flame maple on the body shines like the one in the museum. The original price tag of JPY 260,000 (about USD 2,600) may be able to explain the class it belongs to.

As the photos prove themselves, the guitar looks as if it has just come out of the box. Hardly touched, hardly played, the guitar is waiting for a new worshiper of Japan-made Schecter, a spotless quality!
